That God Would give you creative ideas on how to praises your mate. And if you haven't ever done it, take a  few minutes in praying and praise God for who He is and what He has done in your lives. ~Amen~

~Something to Think About ~

When was the last time you made an effort to praise your mate? Praise your mate three time before you go to sleep tonight.

Tuesday Why You Need The Spirit of God Pt. 1

Ephesians 5:18

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit.

Together that God would help you learn how to allow the  Holy Spirit to control you lives.

Think back over your married life and family. How has the Holy Spirit been a Counselor, Advocate, Defender, Director and Guild?

 

Wednesday  Why You Need The Holy Spirit  Pt. 2

Ephesians 5:21

And be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.

~Prayer~

That the Holy Spirit would give you not only an understanding of your unique roles and responsibilities in marriage, but also the ability to subject your lives to each other.

~Something To Think About~

What evidence could you, as a husband, present to show that you consistently love your wife as Christ loves the Church? What evidence would you as a  wife present to show that you are being submissive to your husband?

Thursday Needed : Spiritual Workouts Pt. 1

1Timothy 4:7-8

On the other hand discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness: for  bodily discipline is only of little profit, godliness is profitable for all things.

~Prayer~

As a couple, set aside a 25-hour period to pray and fast together. Consider using this time to pray together about a problem you're facing as a couple or in your family.

~Something To Think About ~

Do you have regular time of jogging or other physical workout? Do you have regular time of spiritual discipline - Prayer, Bible study, ministry to others? How can you give more importance to these disciplines?

As God for the courage to exercise you Faith daily and grow stronger in Jesus Christ.

What areas of spirituality in your own life need strengthening? What pressures keep you from devoting more time each day to spiritual disciplines or "Workouts"?

Matthew 7:25

That you will be able to call on your long-standing faith in Christ, and that life of trust you have built on Him,  when  crises strike.

If a life-altering crisis hit your family tomorrow, do you feel you'd be ready?
